Galway Pride Parade - 8th August, 2026

Galway Pride will take place on Saturday 8 August, with festivities beginning from 13:15.
The Pride Parade is scheduled to depart Eyre Square at approximately 14:00, travelling towards Galway's Westend.
Based on previous years, the event has caused only minimal traffic disruption and service delays. However, customers travelling through the city centre during the afternoon should allow extra time for their journey.

The Streets of Galway Road Race is taking place on Saturday 08/08 at 19.00.
Rolling Road Closures will be in place.
The Following Routes and Services are affected.
Route 430
17.30 (OUT) Ballina-Galway
This service will NOT drop off at Galway Cathedral.
It will instead terminate at our Foster Court Stop
20.00 (IN) Galway – Ballina
This Service will NOT pick up at Galway Cathedral.
It will instead Begin its Journey at our Foster Court Stop.
Route 923
20.00 (OUT) Galway-Clifden
This Service will NOT pick up at Newcastle stop.
