Please be advised that John Madden & Sons Ltd, on behalf of Galway City Council, will commence road resurfacing works from Tuesday 5th May 2026.

These works will take place over three consecutive nights — Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th, and Thursday 7th May, operating between 7:00pm and 6:00am each night.

Traffic management will be in place during these works and will include:

• Stop/Go systems
• Temporary lane closures
• Localised diversions where required

As a result, some delays are expected. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
