The motorway is closed westbound between J4 Tyrrellspass and J5 Kilbeggan. As a result, services may experience delays.
Passengers traveling from Dublin Airport and City should allow extra travel time.

Affected Services:
Route 721: Castlebar to Dublin City and Airport
Castlebar:
No disruptions expected. However, we recommend that you allow additional travel time due to heavy traffic conditions around the city due to St. Patrick’s day parades and celebrations.
Claremorris: Parade takes place on 16th March
The parade starts at 15:00 and the following services will pick up and set down at Boots, Kilcolman Road, F12 P589.
• 14:40 Castlebar to Dublin City & Airport will pick up in Claremorris at 15:15
• 11:00 Dublin Airport & 11:30 Dublin City to Galway will set down in Claremorris at 14:30
• 14:30 Claremorris to Castlebar
Please note: our temporary pick up and stop off point at Boots, Kilcolman Road, F12 P589 is a 4 minute walk from our current stop at the Leisure Centre.
Tuam:
The following affected services will pick up and drop off in Tuam at Corrib Oil Tuam H54 A090.
• 14:40 Castlebar to Dublin & Dublin Airport will set down and pick up in Tuam at 15:40
• 11:00 Dublin Airport & 11:30 Dublin City to Castlebar will set down and pick up in Tuam at 14:00
Please note: our temporary pickup and drop off point for that time, Corrib Oil Tuam H54 A090 is a 10 minute walk from our usual stop.
Castlebar to Dublin:
Our drop off point at Bachelors Walk will be inaccessible between 05:00 and 17:00 due to the parade. The following services will drop off at:
Heuston Station (D08 E2CV) and Ormond Quay (D07 H324)

*Please note, this relates to Dublin City only drop off point only. Services scheduled to continue to Dublin Airport, will do so after dropping off at the above temporary drop off points in Dublin City.

Dublin to Castlebar:
Our pickup point at Crampton Quay will be inaccessible between 04:00 and 18:00 due to the parade.
The following services will pick up at: Dublin City Council Office, Wood Quay, Dublin 8. D08 RF3F
• 07:30, 11:30 & 15:00
Please see map below of our temporary pick up point at Wood Quay which is an 7 minute walk from Crampton Quay.
