Irish Citylink and Callinan Coaches of Galway join forces going forward.
As part of the proposals under discussion, Irish Citylink’s coach services will be outsourced to Callinan Coaches.

New timetable for Galway to Dublin direct service.
From Monday 17 May 2010 a revised timetable will be in operation on our direct Galway > Dublin > Dublin Airport service. Journeys will operate 15 minutes earlier throughout.

National Bike Week
Citylink staff who took part in National Bike Week.Citylink staff embraced the challenges this morning set by the Galway Transportation Unit, Galway City and County Councils, Galway Chamber and Galway City Business Association, by “Cycling to Work” under the National Bike Week campaign.
Several staff members supported a greener environment by commuting on their Bikes the 22 miles from Loughrea to Galway City and 16 miles from Athenry to Galway City. Starting at 05:00 am, on the wettest morning, was a test of their commitment to support a vision of encouraging people to make informed choices about they way they travel.
Cathy Cullen, Managing Director of Citylink Ireland said:
“In order to protect our environment and improve the quality of life there needs to be a considerable change in peoples approach to their mode of transport – we want to encourage more people to use public transport as a cost efficient alternative to private transport. Other sustainable forms of travel such as cycling and walking not only reduce health risks but contribute greatly to lowering carbon emissions – we all need to make changes, get rid of bad habits and be more conscious of the damage we are generating for the future – we need to rethink, we need to change, and now!”
