Irish Citylink would like to advise customers that from Friday 3rd February 2012, increased fares will apply on our Express, Commuter, Clifden and Cork via Limerick services. Below you will find details on the various ways you can purchase your ticket and reserve a seat, the various ticket options we offer and a list of the various fares between the main points on our network.
Irish Citylink offers a wide range of tickets to suit all of our customers’ needs. Customers can purchase tickets through the following options:
- You can purchase your ticket directly from the coach driver by paying cash.
- By calling into the Citylink Ticket Office located at 17 Forster Street, Galway, or from our Ticket Agents.
- Online at www.citylink.ie, or by calling 091 564 164 with a credit/debit card. This option guarantees your seat.
Our Ticket Office in Galway is open from 8.30am to 6.30pm weekdays and from 9am to 6pm at weekends. We advise customers to pre-book when purchasing tickets as you will be guaranteed your seat on service.
The tickets we currently have an offer are:
Single Ticket A one-way ticket is valid for just one journey, as printed on ticket.
Day Return Ticket A day return ticket is valid for one outward journey on date of issue and one return journey on the same day before Midnight, as printed on ticket. Return Tickets are not valid for two journeys in the same direction.
Monthly Return Ticket A Monthly Return Ticket is valid for one outward journey on date of issue, and for one return journey for up to one month from date of outward travel as printed on ticket. Return Tickets are not valid for two journeys in the same direction.
10 Journey Ticket A 10 Journey Ticket can be purchased on board the coach and is valid for one week from date of purchase. A 10 Journey Ticket is only valid for 5 outward journeys and 5 return journeys which must be taken before the expiry date on the ticket.

Free Travel Pass Holders Free Travel Pass holders are welcome on all of our services. Customers can simply show their pass to the driver when boarding the coach. Free Travel Pass Holders can guarantee their seat by pre-booking with our Reservation Centre on 091 564 164 or alternatively emailing
