The 5th Annual Inishbofin Walking Festival

The fifth annual Inishbofin walking festival is taking place between the 22nd and the 24th of April this year and Citylink are the proud sponsor of the festival. The Inish Bofinwalking festival will be awash with artists, authors and experienced localguides to welcome you to one of Irelands most beautiful islands. The local experienced tour guides will bring you through the islands rich history, archaeology, marine biology,botany, and ornithology with esteemed artists ensuring that you are walking,talking, talking, eating, breathing and learning as you explore through the islands hotels,bars and restaurants.

Artists attending the event include Finbar Fury, Rosie Kearney, Folk/bluegrass band Jig Jam,Moycullen soprano Aimee Banks and Lisa Carey who will open the festival bylaunching her new Novel ‘The Stolen Child’. Native Inishbofin historian and archaeologist Tommy Burke will open the festival with a presentation entitled“Know Your Island”. The festival will have five featured walks over three days that will cater to walkers of all levels.
