On Friday the 11th of December Citylink looked to show their loyal customers just how much they care about them as they created an event known as Festive Friday. Here customers travelling on buses from Galway and Dublin would be treated to a mince pie and a bottle of water in order to get them in the festive spirit.
Stalls were set up in both the Galway and Dublin offices along with the Station in Galway in order to distribute the goods to each person boarding our services or buying a ticket.
The event was a great success as more than 500 mince pies were distributed to happy customers giving them a pleasant surprise to put them in the festive mood. There was no doubt that the pies were enjoyed as there were none left by the end of the day.
However Citylink wanted to make someone's Friday that little bit more special and this was done by giving Robert Moloney 2 tickets to see the local Connacht Rugby team play the Newcastle Falcons. The day was complete as Connacht beat the Falcons 25-10 with Jack Carty kicking 20 of those points for the home side.
It was clear that this day was a great success as it was enjoyed by customers with Citylink accomplishing their goal of putting them in the Christmas spirit.
